Ben Gaddy

Ben helped found Twisted Axes Throw House in 2019 after throwing 2 times. He describes himself as the bottom of the good throwers and loves the competition of leagues and tournaments. He has qualified for the World Championships each year since he started and continues to improve. You can primarily see him at the Moore location!

Jen Gaddy

Jen threw one time before starting the creation of Twisted Axes Throw House. She loves meeting new people and sharing the fun of axe throwing with people here and at tournaments. The social butterfly of the business, you can primarily see her at league night at either location!

Rachel House

Rachel began throwing in 2018. Since 2020, she has travelled to many tournaments and cemented herself as one of the top female throwers in the world. She prefers the challenge and precision of big axe and knives. You can primarily see Rachel at our Yukon location!

Twisted Axes Throw House was born out of a passion for adventure and a desire to bring people together in a fun and engaging way. Located in the heart of the OKC Metro Area, with venues in Yukon and Moore, we offer a unique blend of entertainment that combines the excitement of axe throwing with the warmth of a friendly gathering place. Our founders recognized the growing popularity of axe throwing and wanted to create a space where everyone, from beginners to seasoned throwers, could enjoy the sport in a welcoming atmosphere. Most frequent questions and answers

Axe Throwing at either location is $25+tax for 1 hour or $40+tax for 2 hours (per person).
We offer a 10% discount for all military, police officers, fire fighters, EMT, and teachers. Proof required.
Feel free to use our online booking service! You can call or email with inquiries as well. For peak hours (Fridays/Saturdays), you must pay in full to reserve your spot.
Our bookings require a 24-hour cancellation notice. You can purchase reservation protection to cover no shows or a less timely cancellation. Corporate and off hours bookings require a 1 week cancellation notice. You are asked to show up 5 minutes prior to your reservation to allow for time to sign waivers. A lane will not be held once your reservation time has passed.
Normal operating hours are Wednesday through Friday from 4 p.m. – 10 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m. – 10 p.m., and Sunday from 1 p.m. – 8 p.m. If you have a large group or event it can be scheduled outside of these times.
Walk-ins are accepted during any operational hours, however, reservations are recommended for peak hours.
There is no minimum/maximum group size. We book groups at 5 people per target. We never make groups share targets with other groups. We have 12 targets to use.
Yes, the venue can be booked for private or corporate events. You can email twistedaxesthrowhouse@gmail.com to collect more information.
We accept cash, debit cards, and all major credit cards.
Yes. During your first visit, each guest (and observer) must sign a waiver. Minors must have a waiver signed by a parent/guardian. Waivers will be kept on file and good until revoked in writing. Feel free to sign your waiver in advance — click on the waiver tab at the top of the page!
The minimum age to throw is 8 years, provided they can throw an axe in a safe manner and are accompanied by an adult. There is no minimum age to observe. Please accompany children that need supervision. Staff will have the final say.
Yes, all throwing equipment is provided for you by our staff.
You may bring your own axe if less than 24 inches, but the equipment must be inspected and approved by staff prior to use. No other equipment is permitted.
You will have a brief orientation including safety rules and how to properly throw an axe prior to being released for free play.
Throwing an axe is similar to other target sports. So long as participants are following the safety rules and instructions explained by our staff, throwing an axe is safe.
Make sure to wear close-toed shoes, and dress comfortably.
Absolutely! Observing is encouraged at no charge. All observers must sign the same waiver as active participants.
We do not serve food, we have limited snacks, however, you can bring food or order it in. No outside drinks. We do have beer, wine, cider, seltzers, sodas, energy drinks, tea, sports drinks, and water for purchase. Make sure you are properly prepared with all utensils needed as we don’t supply these items. Per the Oklahoma ABLE commission laws, BYOB for alcohol is not permitted.
Yes! Videos and pictures are encouraged. Be sure to like our Facebook and Instagram pages and possibly find more pics of your group there.
Yes, we have TouchTunes and you can select the music you want to listen to!
Yes! We are a part of the World Axe Throwing League and World Knife Throwing League as seen on ESPN. Check out the League tab for the most current info.
